RETURNS
What should I do with my rented unit at the end of the year?
At the end of the year we will pick up your unit from your room after the general move-out (except at the University of Central Missouri, University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire, Southwest Minnasota State, St. Ambrose University, Northwest Missouri State University, Ripon College, and Graceland University, where items must be returned to a designated location). Appliances are expected to be unplugged, clean, and dry before pickup. If you don’t want to clean it, cleaning is available for purchase. If cleaning is not purchased and the fridge is not clean and dry before pickup, a $50 fee will be charged. Lofts must also be disassembled before pickup unless the disassembly service was purchased. Lofts and/or compact refrigerators not returned to College Products will be charged a replacement cost of $400.00.
Is there an Early Termination Fee?
If a student chooses to terminate this rental agreement prior to end of the agreement, the LESSEE will be assessed an Early Termination Fee of $35.00 by the LESSOR.
Need to return your rental early?
If you cancel your rental term before delivery occurs, a full refund would apply less the 3% credit card processing fee.
Within 30 Days of Delivery
• If you purchased the Rental Refund Plan (RRP), we will arrange pickup and provide a refund of your rental charges, less the insurance, taxes, and processing fees.
• If you did not purchase the Rental Refund Plan, a $35 Early Termination Fee will apply. This fee is used to cover the cost of time and labor to hire someone to retrieve the unit outside of normal collection times.

Product Issues
Please notify us within 30 days of delivery if your rental:
• Is damaged
• Is missing parts
• Was assembled incorrectly
• Is not functioning properly
• Was delivered incorrectly
We will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
What is a improper return fee?
A $50.00 improper return fee is assessed to all Rental Unit(s) not properly returned as per the Return Policy.

How will my refund be issued
Once your rental unit is collected, you will receive your refund as a credit back to the credit card used to place the order in typically 3-5 business days depending on your bank.
RENTAL TRANSFER
Can I give my roommate/friend my fridge or loft rental?
Transferring your rented loft or refrigerator to your roommate or neighbor is a wonderful choice if you decide you don’t need/want to use the loft or compact refrigerator anymore. Since there is no refund after the first 30 days the product is in your possession, someone else might as well use it! That is why we allow students to transfer their mini fridge and/or loft to another student for a $4.99 processing fee, to be paid for by the receiving student. That’s right, no cancellation fees involved. We simply need the original renter to tell us to whom they want to transfer the product and then have the new person fill out the transfer form online. It’s that simple. It literally takes less than 5 minutes to complete the whole process.
