    This damage insurance covers your MicroChill unit from anything that could happen to the unit for the entire rental period. That is why we offer you peace of mind when you choose to add insurance onto a Microchill rental.  Insurance covers broken microwave plates, shelves, lost crisper drawers, and repairable damage above normal wear and tear such as dents/scratches. It also covers Early Termination Fee of $25 up to April 1st if student would need to return Microchill before the end of rental contract 

    Our insurance covers any damage to the rental while it's with you, giving you peace of mind. Your credit card won't be charged for any damage that occurs. It is important that you understand there will be a many young adults traveling in and out of your son/daughter's room throughout the year. Most of the damage that occurs is the result of someone else and not your son/daughter. For this reason, we strongly suggest that you protect yourself from any potential liability. The replacement cost of this unit is (the replacement cost stated in the terms depending on the unit)

    Spring Cleaning Special - Let us do the cleaning for you. If you purchase now it is only $25. Units returned dirty will be charged a $50 cleaning fee. Order Now.

    We’ll clean the rental unit for you. Make sure to take your personal items out, unplug the rental unit and we will clean it upon pick-up! With this service you never have to worry about cleaning or paying an improper cleaning fee. 

  3. Transfer
    Transfer
    $15.00

    Transfer form MUST be filled out by the person taking over the unit. 

    In order to verify the transfer, we need the students name as it appears on the original order. ( this is the name of the person that is transferring the unit to you) Please enter below.

    Transferring your rented loft or refrigerator to your roommate or neighbor is a wonderful choice if you decide you don’t need/want to use the products anymore.  Since there is no refund after the first 30 days the product is in your possession, …someone else might as well use it!  That is why we allow students to transfer their rental products to another student for a $10.00 processing fee, to be paid for by the receiving student.  That’s right, no cancellation fees involved.  We simply need the original renter to tell us to whom they want to transfer the product and then have the new person fill out the transfer form online.  It’s that simple.  It literally takes less than 5 minutes to complete the whole process.

It is important that you use an email in the STUDENT EMAIL field that will be checked throughout the year for special offers, and return details.

RETURN INFORMATION

All units will be picked up from your room after you have left campus

  • • Before leaving campus
  • • Unplug Microchill unit to allow it to defrost
  • • Make sure all items are removed and clean with soap and water
  • • Empty and clean the drip tray ( small bowl located on the back of the unit on top of the compressor)
  • • Make sure unit is completely dry and leave doors open.

DECEMBER RETURN INFORMATION

For December rental returns only. Our local campus manager will contact you to arrange to return your rental.

If you ordered for the academic year and need to return your rental, please call our office 712-226-3250 so we can add you to our collection list. (early termination fee may apply)

Once you have called, we will let our campus manager know and he will contact you and make arrangements to return your rental.
